Member Update: Informed Consent for the Treatment of Sensitive Areas

Recently, the CRMTA has been made aware that an association in Alberta is now requiring members to obtain written consent prior to the treatment of sensitive areas.

To clarify, CRMTA does not require written consent to be obtained for the treatment of sensitive areas.

As a reminder, all CRMTA members are responsible for obtaining informed consent prior to the assessment or treatment of any area of the body, including those areas typically considered to be sensitive.
