Dear CRMTA Members,

Recently, we have been receiving a number of inquiries concerning the Alberta Government Restrictions Exemption Program. CRMTA wants to thank our members for their support and understanding, and we appreciate the efforts of our members throughout COVID towards maintaining all required protocols.

Please refer to the CMOH document that includes full details on this program and the current restrictions.

Please refer to AHS guidance for further details. Please note: Wellness services are currently considered out-of-scope for the Restrictions Exemption Program.

Currently, massage therapists are not eligible to participate in the Restriction Exemption Program. However, businesses can opt to require proof of vaccination if they wish to do so.

The Provincial mask mandate remains in effect, and we remind our members that the use of masks during massage for both therapist and client remain in full effect.

Please note that CRMTA offices will be closed on Thursday, September 30th in observance of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
