1. Active Member

An Active Membership is for practicing Massage Therapists who are graduates of recognized RMT programs with a minimum of 2,200 hours Massage Therapy theory and clinical practicum as approved by the Board.
FEE: $332/year.

2. Associate Member:

An Associate Membership is for students who are currently enrolled in RMT programs with a minimum of 2,200 hours Massage Therapy theory and clinical practicum as approved by the Board, as well as completed a minimum of 1,200 hours of education and received a certificate of completion for that amount of training from a Massage Therapy program recognized by the Association. Associate Members may only practice Massage Therapy under supervision and within their level of competence and within the scope of practice of their current level of training.

3. Student Member

Student Memberships are for students currently enrolled in a Massage Therapy program with a minimum of (2,200) hour as recognized by the Association, but have not yet met the requirements to be an associate member or active member. Student Members may only practice within their level of competence and within the scope of practice of their current level of training.
FEE: FREE

4. Inactive Member

Any individual who is, or was, or is entitled to be, registered as an active member is eligible to be an inactive member in any membership year where they will not be providing Massage Therapy services to members of the public.
FEE: $75/year.

5. Affiliate Member

In order to become an affiliate member of the association, a person must have an interest in the profession of massage therapy even if they are not a massage therapist or enrolled in a Massage Therapy program.
FEE: $50/year.

NOTE: Must be over 18 years of age and a Canadian citizen to apply for membership. The board shall decide in their sole discretion whether or not to accept an individual as an affiliate member.
